As ENOS aproaches its first anniversary, we reflect on the partnership of clinicians and researchers it has created, with the single focus of promoting excellence in neuro-oncology research and service delivery.
ENOS now enjoys representation from the fields of Neurosurgery, Clinical Oncology, Radiology, Pathology, Molecular Genetics, Stem Cell Biology, Embryology, Developmental Therapeutics, Computational Biology and Ion beam therapy.
As well as working with Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, ENOS holds institutional affiliations with the CRUK -Cambridge Research Institute, Cambridge Centre for Brain Repair, Hutchison / MRC research Centre, Wolfson Brain Imaging Centre and Welcome Trust Centre for Stem Cell Research.
The impetus for improvement defined at the inaugural research meeting has is being maintained, and monthly strategic development meetings are held by ENOS members to identify opportunities for translational research, clinical trials, and improvements in service delivery.
